G Adventures Founder with John Kirk on Purpose-Driven Luxury Travel and GX Highlights

Last week, I was in Jordan for GX, G Adventures’ annual global conference, which coincided with World Tourism Day on September 27. The event featured a full day of inspiring guest speakers and updates on G Adventures’ achievements and ongoing commitments to community tourism initiatives.

Founder Bruce Poon Tip delivered plenty of exciting news, including the company’s bold expansion into the luxury travel space with the launch of “National Geographic Signature with G Adventures”—unveiled before an audience of more than 700 enthusiastic attendees.

I caught up with Bruce early Sunday morning in Amman, just hours after a memorable evening that included a live performance by the remaining members of The Jackson 5.
