Clients Can Experience Aurora Borealis at Eye Level

September 19, 2017

The Yukon Astronomical Society is partnering with Tourism Yukon and Air North, Yukon’s Airline, to provide private chartered flights for travelers to get an eye-level look at the Northern Lights.

The three are offering high-altitude views of the spectacular aurora in the Yukon sky, on either Nov. 24 or 25, 2017, depending on the aurora forecast. The flights come with three flexible packages that include pre-flight welcome reception and entertainment at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Prices start at approximately (CAD) $950 for the flight only, (CAD) $1,200 for the flight and three nights hotel in Whitehorse and (CAD) $1,635 for the flight, transportation to Whitehorse and three nights hotel stay.

Pending final flight route, each participant will receive a certificate from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, stating that they have crossed the Arctic Circle. Tickets are available for purchase now on the Fly Air North website.
