BDM Andi Bacho Announces Departure from Playa Hotels & Resorts

Much-loved Playa Hotels & Resorts BDM Andi Bacho is leaving the company after three years; her last day will be December 31, 2025.
Speaking with Travel Market Report Canada Thursday morning, Bacho says the decision to leave was a difficult one.
“It was a very difficult decision for me, and very bittersweet. Playa has been wonderful to work for, but I am excited about what’s to come.”
In an email Bacho said that after being a travel advisor herself, “stepping into a Business Development Manager role was a new chapter for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support, collaboration, and partnership I experienced throughout this journey.”
What made this role special was so much more than the incredible resorts in our beautiful destinations, it was the relationships and connections I had the privilege of building along the way.”
Beginning January 1, 2026, the main contact for Ontario will be HIC BDM Brian Joseph.
“As we close out the year, I want to sincerely thank you for trusting Playa Hotels & Resorts with your clients and for the opportunity to work alongside you. This chapter may be changing, but the relationships certainly don’t end here, and I truly hope to stay connected and cross paths again very soon,” added Bacho.
