After more than 11 years with Playa Hotels & Resorts, culminating in the role of Vice President Global Wholesale and Retail Sales, Rose Cosentino has joined Air Canada Vacations as Head of Product Development.

In this role, she will lead the tour operator’s product strategy and partner portfolio, guiding the continued evolution of its offerings and strengthening relationships with partners.

“With extensive leadership experience in the travel and hospitality industry, Rose brings a strong track record of driving growth, developing innovative strategies, and building meaningful partnerships across international markets,” said Nino Montagnese, Air Canada Vacations Vice President.

In an exclusive exchange with TMR Canada, Rose commented, “Having spent my career working across different sectors of the travel industry, I’ve always admired Air Canada Vacations for its leadership, scale, and unwavering focus on delivering value to both travellers and travel advisors. Joining the team feels like a natural and exciting next step. I’m energized by the opportunity to work alongside some of the best professionals in the industry as we continue to strengthen partnerships, expand our portfolio, and inspire Canadians to explore the world.”

While welcoming Cosentino, Montagnese was keen to recognize and thank the retiring Dina Bertolo for her many contributions and leadership over the years.

“We extend our warmest wishes as she steps into retirement and begins a well-deserved new chapter,” he said.

Montagnese said the team at ACV is excited about the vision and energy Cosentino brings to the team.
