Hyatt Centric, Hyatt’s lifestyle boutique hotel brand, is poised to grow by 50% over the next four years, reaching 100 properties worldwide by 2029.

More than 35 new Hyatt Centric hotels will open from now through the end of 2028, accounting for 75% brand growth in Asia Pacific and significant growth in Europe and the Americas, as well. The brand added several hotels in 2024 – including in Cairo, Shanghai, San Jose, and Santo Domingo – and plans to keep the momentum going.

Emily Wright, vice president and global brand leader for Hyatt’s Classics & Essentials Portfolio, said the expansion is “part of our strategic brand realignment and bringing more focused expertise and support to five distinct brand portfolios.”

She added that Hyatt Centric “meets the rising demand from guests and members, especially Millennial and Gen Z travelers, for more contemporary accommodations with playful details, sophisticated furnishings and socially connected spaces.”

As a lifestyle hotel brand, Hyatt Centric incorporates big-city cultures into boutique settings, paying homage to each destination. Here’s where travelers can expect to see Hyatt Centrics pop up next.

In 2025, the brand will increase its footprint in the Americas with openings in Chicago, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, plus add new hotels in Europe and Asia:

– Hyatt Centric Queretaro (Mexico)

– Hyatt Centric Isla Verde San Juan

– Hyatt Centric Reims (France)

2026 will be a big year for Hyatt Centric in Asia Pacific with these openings in India, Japan, China, and Taiwan:

– Hyatt Centric Bengaluru Airport

– Hyatt Centric Electronic City Bangalore

– Hyatt Centric East Taipei

– Hyatt Centric Shanghai Jinqiao

In 2028, there will also be a Middle East property opening: Hyatt Centric Madinah KEC in Saudi Arabia.
