Hyatt Signs on Brand-New Secrets Resort in the Dominican Republic

Dominican Republic

A brand-new Secrets all-inclusive resort is coming to the Dominican Republic in 2026.

Hyatt has signed a management agreement with the owners of the existing Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana to open Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana right next door. The new-build property will be the adults-only counterpart to the adjacent family-friendly resort.

“The Dominican Republic continues to be a priority destination for our guests seeking adults-only, all-inclusive luxury experiences, and our commitment to growing with intent remains prevalent in this highly coveted region,” said Fernando Fernandez, vice president, development, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt. “We’re thrilled to strengthen our relationship with GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L. and bringing the Secrets Resorts & Spas brand to Macao Beach, recognized as one of the Caribbean’s top beaches by UNESCO.”

Opening sometime next year, Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana will feature 406 rooms, including 111 swim-out suites and 13 panoramic, high-level swim-out suites in the Junior Suite, Master Suite, and Presidential Suite categories.

The new resort will also have nine restaurants, nine bars, three pools, and a 1,000-person capacity convention center. Guests of the resort will also have access to all restaurants and amenities at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana.

Some other highlights of the resort will be the farm-to-table restaurant inside an on-site organic garden, rooftop pool for Preferred Club members, and multiple spots with panoramic Atlantic Ocean views.

Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana will join a growing Hyatt Inclusive Collection portfolio in the Dominican Republic, which recently added Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Miches.
