ACTA Announces Los Cabos Immersive Destination Learning Experience in May

In partnership with the Los Cabos Tourism Board, the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA), has announced a new Immersive Destination Learning Experience taking place in Los Cabos from May 25 to 29, 2026.

Created exclusively for ACTA member travel advisors, the program is designed to deliver meaningful, in-destination learning through an itinerary that combines education, destination immersion, and supplier engagement.

Moving beyond traditional site inspections, the initiative offers participants a hands-on professional development opportunity designed to deepen their understanding of the destination and strengthen their ability to sell Los Cabos with confidence.

Travel advisors will take part in guided property visits, direct engagement with tourism and supplier partners, and immersive on-site learning sessions that showcase the diversity of the destination’s tourism offering.

“This immersive experience reflects ACTA’s commitment to providing travel advisors with practical learning opportunities that translate directly into stronger destination expertise and enhanced client service,” said ACTA president Suzanne Acton-Gervais.

Participation in the program is available to selected ACTA members for a fee of $500 CAD. Airfare is not included; however, ACTA is working with airline partners to secure preferred airfare rates for the selected participants.

Applications are now open, and interested ACTA members may apply here. The application deadline is April 17. Selected participants will be notified on April 23, and payment of the participation fee will be required by April 30 to confirm participation.
