Kensington Tours Expands Canadian Offerings to Meet Demand
by Marsha Mowers
Strong demand from Canadians looking to avoid travel to the U.S in lieu of exploring our own country has fuelled Kensington Tours to expand its North American portfolio with a new collection of tailor-made itineraries that focus on Eastern Canada.
Travellers can now explore the cultural and natural highlights of Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, and Newfoundland.
“We’re also seeing more Canadians choosing to explore their own country,” said Joelle Davis, VP Cruise & Americas told Travel Market Report Canada. “Canada offers such a vast and varied landscape from vibrant cities and coastal routes to remote wilderness that it lends itself perfectly to the kind of personalized, private-guided experiences Kensington is known for.
In particular, we had a lot of demand for Eastern Canada from advisors and consumers alike, which is not a surprise given its rich mix of culture and history. This expansion allows travellers to discover the beauty of home in a way that reflects their individual interests and pace whether by land or at sea.”
Kensington has also increased tours in major U.S. destinations such as Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and the charming coastal towns of New England.
This expansion spans both Kensington’s Tours and Cruise divisions and the company has significantly enhanced its collection of customized shore excursions, now available in more than 265 ports worldwide.
New experiences along the Northeastern U.S. and Canadian coastlines include Portland, Rockland, and Bar Harbor in Maine; Boston and Newport; New York City; Norfolk, Virginia; as well as Quebec City and Montreal. These new offerings reflect the growing demand for localized, flexible travel experiences that go beyond traditional group tours—allowing guests to explore at their own pace with the expertise of Kensington’s private guides.
New itineraries from Kensington Cruise include:
