Aurora Expeditions Rolls Out Canadian Pricing for Antarctica Voyages

by Marsha Mowers  August 07, 2025
Aurora Expeditions Rolls Out Canadian Pricing for Antarctica Voyages

Aurora Expeditions has made it easier for Canadian travel advisors to sell Antarctica with a major update to its booking policy: voyages can now be priced in Canadian dollars.

Previously priced exclusively in USD, Antarctica itineraries are now available in 6 currencies overall (USD, CAD, EUR, GBP,  AUD, and NZD) and match your agency’s registered location. This means the exchange rate is locked in at the time of booking—providing pricing consistency and eliminating surprises at final payment.

“This update is all about helping our advisors offer a seamless, transparent booking experience,” said David Tanguay, Global Head of Sales at Aurora Expeditions. “It’s another step in our commitment to making it easier and more profitable for trade partners to sell Antarctica.”

Key benefits for travel advisors include:

  • Local currency pricing now available in USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and NZD
  • Exchange rate locked in at the time of booking for both deposit and final payment
  • No surprises for clients – pricing consistency from start to finish
  • Available for both direct and trade bookings, based on location
  • Improved global alignment for trade partners and clients in multiple markets

Aurora says the new policy supports a smoother sales process and builds client trust—especially on high-investment itineraries like Antarctica.
