ACTA has launched its 2026 Referral Program, for the first time in partnership with Aurora Expeditions.

The program gives travel advisors and agencies across Canada the opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime Antarctic expedition while supporting the growth and strength of Canada’s national travel trade association.

Running from January 15 to August 31, 2026, the program encourages industry professionals to join, renew, refer, and certify, earning ballots toward an exclusive Grand Prize draw with every qualifying action.

One winner will receive one complimentary cabin (1x FOC) on the South Georgia, Falklands and Antarctica expedition aboard the Sylvia Earle.

  • Cabin Category: Balcony B
  • Approximate Value: $45,000 CAD per person

Participants can increase their chances of winning by engaging more deeply with ACTA throughout the campaign period — the more actions completed, the more ballots earned.

How to Earn Ballots

Join or Renew ACTA Membership for 2026

  • Earn one ballot for each new membership or renewal completed during the campaign period. Retroactive eligibility applies to all 2026 renewals completed on or after September 1, 2025.

Refer a Travel Advisor or Travel Agency to Join ACTA

  • Referrals help strengthen ACTA’s advocacy efforts with government and industry partners.
  • Earn three ballots for each successful referral. Referrers must ensure their name is included on the application or referral form.
  • Submit your referral here.

Enroll in, Complete, or Renew CTC/CTM Certification

  • Earn one ballot for enrolling in, completing, or renewing a Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM) designation.
  • Earn three ballots for each successful referral to the certification program.

The ACTA Referral Program is designed to reward engagement while reinforcing the collective strength of Canada’s travel advisor and agency community.

Full contest rules and program details are available here.
