Sandals Starts “No Worries Movement” in New Ad Campaign

January 11, 2016

“Don’t worry about a thing, ’cause every little thing gonna be all right.”

Those immortal words originally sung by the late Bob Marley are the heart of Sandals’ new ad campaign. The resort giant on Friday announced a new partnership with the Marleys and the Tuff Gong record label for the so-called “No Worries Movement.”

Taking the stage at the launch party, Sandals founder and chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart said the partnership brings together two of the most recognizable names in the Caribbean. Then Marley’s grandson Skip performed “Three Little Birds,” which he also sings in the commercials.

It makes sense that Marley, a symbol of Jamaican culture, is featured in the new spots. Sandals first location was in Montego Bay; Stewart bought a 99-room hotel in 1981 and turned it into the upscale resort it is today.
