Adventures by Disney is adding a new river cruise through southern France for 2026.

The new eight-day, seven-night itinerary takes guests from Lyon through the Rhône River Valley and Provence—enjoying the region’s storybook sights, enhanced with the signature Disney magic.

The Rhône River cruise sails on the AmaKristina, operated by AmaWaterways. Highlights include active sightseeing experiences along the Rhône River with options such as cycling and kayaking; a steam-powered train journey through Doux Gorges with a departure exclusive to Adventures by Disney guests; tours and tastings celebrating the region’s famous cuisine and vineyards; and, immersive guided experiences focusing on history and culture, led by Disney-trained Adventure Guides.

All-ages Adventures by Disney cruises include youth programming for children. These Adventure Guide-led activities onboard are called “Junior Adventurers.”

Adventures by Disney is launching the itinerary with five sailings in 2026, with four for families and one reserved exclusively for adults. Bookings open Feb. 12, 2025, with early access available to previous Adventures by Disney guests.

Booking dates:

  • Feb. 7, 2025: Previous Adventures by Disney guests who have traveled on three or more Adventures
  • Feb. 10, 2025: All previous Adventures by Disney guests
  • Feb. 11, 2025: Disney Vacation Club Members, Disney Cruise Line Platinum, Gold & Silver Castaway Members, Club 33 Members, and Golden Oak Members
