For the first time in its history, American Queen Voyages will be offering overnight stays on its 2022 fall Great Lakes sailings. The overnights will be in Mackinac Island, Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City.

“Our valued travel advisors and guests shared how much they enjoy overnights in port while cruising Europe, so we adjusted these autumn voyages to offer opportunities to explore similar storied ports after the sun goes down here in North America,” said Shawn Bierdz, COO of American Queen Voyages. “Sunset strolls along the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal and sipping a warm cider during a Mackinac Island carriage ride are among the moments our guests can now enjoy.

Departures during which overnights are available include the 15-day Montreal to Chicago (Sept. 5) and reverse 15-day Chicago to Montreal (Sept. 18) sailings, along with the 12-day roundtrip Montreal cruise (Oct. 1). All sailings will be onboard the 202-passenger Ocean Navigator.
