Victory Cruise Lines has added Brandon Oscarson as BDM – East, tasked with building partnerships with the travel advisor community across the Eastern United States.
Oscarson brings to the role more than a decade of experience building trade relationships within the cruise segment. Most recently, he served as the business relationship lead for Florida at Explora Journeys (2024 to 2026). Prior to that, Oscarson was a regional sales director for Scenic, and spent over nine years as a BDM for AmaWaterways.
Brandon Oscarson shared the news in a LinkedIn post:
“This is an exciting next chapter for me, and one I’m really looking forward to… What stood out to me right away was the product and the people. There’s a clear vision here, and a team that greatly values partnership. And just as important, the guest experience is delivering! The feedback coming back from guests has been incredibly strong, which says a lot about where this brand is heading.”
In his new role, Oscarson will focus on strengthening relationships with travel advisors and agency partners to increase awareness of Victory Cruise Lines’ small-ship experiences.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brandon Oscarson to Victory Cruise Lines,” John Waggoner, founder and chairman of Victory Cruise Lines, told Travel Market Report. “Brandon brings an exceptional blend of leadership, industry insight, and a guest‑first mindset that aligns perfectly with our vision for growth.”
Victory Cruise Lines is known for its Great Lakes sailings. Earlier this month, the company unveiled a $5 million fleet enhancement program for Victory I and Victory II ahead of the upcoming season.
“Our layup period is a disciplined investment cycle,” said David William Kelly, COO of Victory Cruise Lines. “This $5 million reinvestment reflects our long-term commitment to the technical integrity of our vessels and the continual elevation of the onboard experience.”
