Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge has appointed Erin Gilroy as the hotel’s new director of sales and marketing.
Gilroy brings more than 20 years of hospitality and commercial strategy experience, as well as deep knowledge of the Boston market, to the role. She most recently led revenue optimization and business development for Grand Hyatt Nashville. Before that, she was complex director of sales and marketing for Boston Marriott Copley Place and Sheraton Boston Hotel.
In addition, Gilroy runs her own consulting practice advising hospitality organizations on revenue growth strategy and team effectiveness. She integrated in the Boston business community as part of The Fenway Bowl Executive Committee and serving as vice president of SKAL International Boston.
Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge hired three others to the hotel’s leadership team recently, as well: Katelyn Kucera as director of human resources, John Murphy as director of finance, and Sameh Zakhary, Jr., as executive chef.
“We are thrilled to welcome this exceptional group of leaders to the Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge family,” said Matt Huss, the hotel’s managing director. “Each brings a unique perspective, deep industry experience, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Their leadership will be instrumental as we continue to build upon the strength of our team and elevate the experience for our guests, clients, and team members.”
