IHG Hotels & Resorts Appoints New SVP, Global Sales

Leanne Harwood, Senior Vice President, Global Sales, IHG

IHG Hotels & Resorts has named Leanne Harwood as its senior vice president of global sales. 

Harwood has been with IHG for more than 20 years, most recently in the role of Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Luxury, Lifestyle & Managed Hotels, Americas. She brings a total of more than 30 years of hospitality experience to her new position. 

“Leanne’s deep commercial expertise and track record of building high-performing teams makes her the ideal person to lead our Global Sales organization,” said Jolyon Bulley, CEO, Americas, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “Her global experience, strategic perspective and passion for hospitality will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and grow our customer partnerships across our business.”   

Harwood also previously held leadership roles at IHG across sales, commercial and operations functions throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Japan and Australasia. 

In her new role, Harwood will oversee global sales operations and drive customer engagement and growth in the corporate, group and meetings, and events segments worldwide.
