Vice president of sales for Scenic Luxury Cruises and Emerald Cruises Anthony Viciana, is departing the company, effective today. Ken Muskat, president of Scenic Group USA & LATAM will oversee sales while the company looks for a replacement. The rest of the sales team will report to Muskat while the search continues.

Viciana joined Scenic Group as vice president of sales in April 2025 and is leaving to pursue other career opportunities.

“We thank him for the leadership he has provided to our sales team and support of our trade partners for the past year while working at Scenic Group,” Muskat said in an email to travel advisor partners.

“I anticipate a very smooth transition with business continuing as usual.  We will proceed with all sales commitments and activities as planned with the continued goal of working with you, our outstanding trade partners, in achieving our mutual 2026 and beyond business growth targets.  Our sales team and trade distribution play the most integral role in our companies’ success and we are committed to keeping that momentum going strong,” Muskat wrote.

Scenic is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and has six new ships coming to its global fleet (Scenic and Emerald combined) over the next three years.

Muskat assured advisors that the company’s regional sales directors are available to answer any questions.

“I look forward to keeping you informed of our progress in finding a new Sales leader, but in the meantime, I am personally available for anything you require and to ensure our year continues without any disruption.”
