Carnival Cruise Line is once again looking to reward travel agents booking its sailings. This time, with a new reward program called “Loyalty Rocks.”

The program, which launched today, June 19, makes it easier for agents to manage the points they’ve earned—now, for every booking an agent makes, they will receive between five and 50 base points.

The launch also adds new features, including a mobile-friendly design, and perks for the program’s members.

Now, all staterooms in a group will earn the agent points, while higher category staterooms and longer cruises will earn more.

“While our previous program was extremely successful, we felt it was time for a redesign, so we asked travel agents what they want in a rewards program and from there we developed ‘Loyalty Rocks!’,” said Adolfo Perez, senior vice president sales & trade marketing.

“The rewards program is focused at the agent level, recognizing the individual agents and all that they do for Carnival Cruise Line in a more impactful way. I’m excited to show them how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.”

To help launch the program, Carnival has added a “Loyalty Rocks! Booking Challenge” through July 18. Each agent making a booking that has earned reward points will be entered to win 1,000 extra rewards points daily. Carnival will then have one mega-prize at the end of the challenge, which will offer a grand prize of 20,000 reward points.

Agents can redeem points for gift cards ($50 for every 1,000 points), jewelry, electronics, movies, gift baskets, and more.

Agents can check out the full benefits under the “Agents Rewards” tab at GoCCL.com.
