Construction Begins on Third The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Vessel
by Dori Saltzman /The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection celebrated the keel laying for its third ship, Luminara at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The milestone marks the official start of construction of the ship.
“Luminara represents the culmination of innovative design and relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Jim Murren, executive chairman and CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. “We take great pride in the remarkable craftsmanship, meticulous planning, and unwavering attention to detail invested in the creation of Luminara, and we can’t wait to welcome our newest superyacht to the fleet.”
Slated to debut on July 31, 2025, Luminara will measure 794 feet and accommodate up to 452 guests. It will feature 226 suites, each with a private ocean-view terrace; a higher percentage of upper-suite categories; and an expanded marina providing direct access to the sea.
Reservations are already open for Luminara’s 2025 sailings.
