Costa Cruises is renaming its cruise rates to make them easier for the North American market to understand. The newly named rates are: “Cruise Only” and “Cruise Plus Drinks.”

“By putting our rates into these two categories, we’re aiming to make the booking process even easier, presenting them in a way so that our guests have an immediate and clear picture of what is included in their cruise,” said LaDonna Allen, head of sales for Costa Cruises North America. “The new rates are simple so guests just need to decide if they want to pay for drinks as they go or have a dedicated package, so they don’t have to think about that cost along the way.”

With the “Cruise Plus Drinks” fare, guests receive all of the perks that come with the “Cruise Only” rate, pus they get a “My Drinks” package. This package incudes a wide selection of wines, beers, cocktails, spirits, soft drinks, cappuccino, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices, and two half-liter bottles of San Benedetto mineral water per cabin daily.

Guests can choose “Cruise Only” or “Cruise Plus Drinks” with their interior, oceanview, or balcony cruise booking.
