Costa Cruises has revamped its shore excursion program with four distinctive Land Destination clusters, each curated to meet a variety of travel preferences. Every tour will now fall into one of four collections: See It All, Icons, Fun for Family, or Extraordinary.
“Costa’s refreshed shore excursion program is set to further elevate the way our guests experience each destination,” said Priscilla Reyes, head of sales for Costa Cruises North America. “Whether they’re first-time visitors or seasoned travelers, our new Land Destination clusters make it easier than ever for guests to find excursions that match their interests and help create memorable days from ship to shore.”
The new land destination clusters are:
See It All: Ideal for guests who want to enjoy the top highlights of a destination in one tour. Examples include All of Naples, All of Marseille by Petit Train, and a Visit to the Village of Altos de Chavon (La Romana, D.R.).
Icons: Focused on in-depth exploration of iconic attractions, featuring exclusive, skip-the-line access to often sold-our spots. Examples include Imperial Rome: Colosseum, Forums and Emperors; Ballaro: Walking with a Chef through Markets, Arancini and Cannoli; and Boat Tour and Snorkeling on the Coral Reef.
Fun for Family: Designed for multi-generational travel, these excursions balance discovery and entertainment on a tour that is safe and easy for all ages, and are hosted by Costa’s Squok Club team members. Examples include Little and Big Archeologists in Pompeii, In Search of the Dragon (Palma de Mallorca), and a Voyage Into the Solar System in Genoa.
Extraordinary: Created for those seeking adrenaline-filled or unusual experiences, this cluster includes bucket-list options. Examples include Dive Among Sharks at the Barcelona Aquarium, Suspended between Sea and Rocks at La Ciotat’s Via Ferrata (Marseille), and Raft Tour of the Geirangerfjord.
