Silversea Cruises has named Carol Cabezas as senior vice president of global sales, the cruise lines’ president Bert Hernandez announced in an email to employees.

Effective Oct. 14, 2025, Cabezas will oversee Silversea’s sales organization, including trade and consumer sales, call centers, and e-commerce. She will report directly to Hernandez.

Cabezas brings more than 25 years of cruise experience to the role, including serving as president of Azamara and overseeing its sale from Royal Caribbean Group. She has also held various leadership roles across sales, finance, revenue management, and investor relations at Royal Caribbean Group.

“Throughout her career, Carol has led commercial teams that have driven meaningful business impact, including sales programs that further strengthened trade relationships…,” Hernandez said. “She has also spearheaded the development of business opportunities with national consortia and key strategic trade partners, supported national promotional campaigns and trade compensation, led business analysis, strategy and financial planning, and implemented automation tools for trade and field sales.”

Silversea’s three in-market sales leaders – Joe Leon, Andy Nuessel, and Adam Radwanski —as well as Alessandro Casellato and the e-commerce team, Tom Burke, and Teresa Ignacio, will report directly to Cabezas.
