Here Are the Best 2023 Cruise Wave Season Promotions

Wave Season has officially begun and cruise lines are releasing their promotions, offering money off discounts, value-add bonuses, and more on select sailings throughout 2023.

Here are all the offers we know about:

American Cruise Lines
For Wave Season – and its 50th anniversary – ACL is offering $1,200 off per stateroom, along with free domestic airfare on eight-day Lower Mississippi River Cruises, departing April 8 to May 8, 2023. The line is also offering $1,000 off per stateroom on eight-day Columbia & Snake River cruises + free domestic airfare for departures from April 8 to May 8, 2023. Bookings must be made by January 31. Other Wave Season deals can be found on the line’s “Special Offers” page with extended deadlines.

American Queen Voyages
Through February 28, 2023, clients can save up to $2,500 on their American Queen Voyages booking

American Cruise Lines

American Queen Voyages
Through February 28, 2023, clients can save up to $2,500 on their American Queen Voyages booking and receive free roundtrip air from select U.S. and Canadian gateways. Cruisers will also have the option to take a $300 per person travel credit instead of the free roundtrip air if they prefer. The Wave Season promo is available on select new bookings on river, Great Lakes, and ocean cruises. 

Celebrity Cruises
Through March 1, 2023, Celebrity Cruises is offering the Semi-Annual Sale, with savings of 75% off second guest cruise fares (60% off on refundable fares), plus up to an additional $800 off per stateroom and up to $800 in onboard credit (varies by sailing length). The offer is applicable on most cruises sailing now through April 30, 2025.

Cunard
Through March 28, 2023 Cunard cruisers can save up to 30% and receive onboard credit of up to $2,000 per stateroom with the line’s “Treat Yourself, On Us” wave promotion. The offer is available on select voyages of seven nights or longer for itineraries departing between May 16, 2023 and January 3, 2025 on all of Cunard’s ships including its newest, Queen Anne. New bookings only.

Emerald Cruises
Emerald has extended its “Explore the Extraordinary” promotion into 2023 for Wave Season. Running through March 31, the promo offers up to $3,000 off on river cruises and up to $4,500 off on yacht cruises for sailings in 2023 and 2024. The promo also includes a choice of three pay-in-full bonuses for clients who pay in full 12 months prior to sailing, or within 72 hours of booking for cruises departing within 12 months.

Holland America Line
Holland America’s “Time of Your Life” promotion runs through February 28, 2023 and offers savings of up to 30%, as well as stateroom upgrades, free fares for kids (children under 18, when booked as a third or fourth guest), “Have It all Amenities” (tour credits, beverage package, specialty dining, Wi-Fi), and reduced deposit requirements on select summer 2023 to winter/spring 2024 cruises and cruise/tours. Plus, cruisers who book by January 31, can take advantage of onboard credit of $200 to $400 per stateroom, depending on cruise length. Upgrades are subject to availability of staterooms in the next highest category. The Wave Season promotion does not apply to Grand Voyages or sailings lasting five days or less.

MSC Cruises
For this year’s WAVE season, MSC Cruises is offering cruises from $129 for a three-night cruise with up to a $200 onboard credit and kids sail free. Offer is valid for U.S. residents only and bookings must be made by January 25, 2023.

Paul Gauguin Cruises
Paul Gauguin Cruises is inviting cruisers to “Take Your Sweetie to Tahiti” with $200 onboard credit per suite or stateroom + a welcome bottle of Champagne and chocolates, for new bookings on seven-night voyages in 2023 made through March 3, 2023. To share the love, the cruise line will also reward travel advisors with a $250 gift card for every new deposited booking. 


Princess Cruises

Princess is bringing back its “Best Sale Ever” for this year’s Wave Season with savings of up to 35% off and up to $150 in onboard spending money. Promotion is only available to legal residents of North America for new bookings on select cruises, and ends 11:59 p.m. (PT) on March 1, 2023.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises
For this year’s Wave Season, RSSC is offering free two-category suite upgrades and 50% reduced deposits on more than 400 voyages departing through May 2025. Clients can also take advantage of up to 20% off on 16 European voyages. The “Upgrade Your Horizon” promotion is available on new bookings made through March 31, 2023. World Cruises and Grand Voyages are not included in the offer. 

Riviera River Cruises
Through February, Riviera River Cruises is offering discounts of many of its remaining eight- and 15-day river cruise departures in 2023. Savings are $500 off per person on eight-day sailings and $1,500 off per person on 15-day itineraries. In March, discounts go down to $400 per person and $1,250 per person, respectively. Valid on new bookings only and excludes departures for solo travelers and group bookings. 

Royal Caribbean
Throughout the month of January, cruise clients can take advantage of 30% off savings – on every guest – and Kids Sail Free deals. The offer can be applied to sailings departing in 2023, 2024 and 2025, with some blackout dates in place. Advisors should also be on the lookout for flash deals like $550 instant savings and discounts on beverage and dining packages, shore excursions and Internet, throughout the month.

Scenic
Luxury river cruise and yacht operator, Scenic, is offering savings of up to $1,500 per couple on more than 20 river cruise itineraries in Europe and up to $5,000 per couple off on more than 125 Scenic Eclipse departures. Additionally, clients paying in full 12 months or more before departure, or within 72 hours of booking a cruise departing within 12 months, can take advantage of additional savings. Promo runs through March 31, 2023.

Seabourn
During Seabourn’s “Suite Life Event” promotion, cruisers can save up to 25% on all suite categories on select sailings through 2024. The Wave Season promotion, which runs through February 28, 2023 offers up to 15% off on Seabourn’s ocean voyages and up to 25% off on the line’s expedition voyages. Plus, all bookings made through February 21, 2023 will earn an additional $2,000 in shipboard credit.

Silversea Cruises
Silversea clients paying their port-to-port fare upfront on select voyages can take advantage of savings of up to 20% this Wave Season. Bookings must be made by end of day on February 28, 2023. Additionally, Silversea is offering savings of up to 20% on selected door-to-door all-inclusive expedition voyages to Greenland, Arctic Canada and Arctic Norway. Good for new bookings made between January 17 and February 28, 2023.

UnCruise Adventures
Through February 5, 2023, UnCruise is offering a variety of Wave Season offers including $99 per person deposits, savings of up to $1,000 per cabin on select Alaska Awakening departures (between April 7 and May 13), buy one cabin, get one 50% off on all Baja sailings between January 21 and May 6, and fourth guest sails free with the purchase of three full fares on any departure of the 84-guest Safari Endeavour in 2023. Additionally, the single supplement fee is being waived on select departures in 2023.

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises
Through February 28, river cruises who pay in full at time of booking on select river cruises can save up to $1,500 per person. The “Year to Remember” sales event is available on new, individual bookings on select 2023 itineraries and departure dates only.

Vantage Deluxe World Travel
Through February 28, 2023, travelers can save up to 20% on select Vantage 2023 and 2024  expedition, small ship and river cruises. Applicable cruises visit destinations around the world including the Arctic, Antarctic, Europe, North America, Caribbean, and the Amazon.


Virgin Voyages

Through January 31, clients interested in booking a Virgin Voyages cruise can save 60% on the second person in a cabin, with both cruisers getting a free Bar Tab of either $300 or $600, depending on voyage length. Available on most 2023 sailings of Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady, and select sailings on Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady.
