Holland America Line has opened bookings for five newly added voyages aboard Oosterdam following the ship’s Evolution refurbishment.
As announced in September, Oosterdam’s Evolution transformation will begin earlier than previously scheduled, leaving room to add these new sailings. Leading the collection of new voyages is the inaugural post-Evolution sailing, a 10-Day Adriatic Antiquities cruise from Rome to Trieste that explores the ancient wonders of Pompeii and Sicily, the Greek island of Corfu, Montenegro’s spectacular Bay of Kotor, and Croatia’s Adriatic coast.
“One of the great joys of travel is being among the first to discover something new, and these voyages give guests that opportunity aboard Oosterdam,” said Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line. “As the first ship to emerge from Holland America Evolution, Oosterdam marks the beginning of an exciting new era for our fleet. We’re delighted to welcome guests aboard these inaugural post-Evolution sailings and invite them to be among the first to experience a transformation that builds on everything they love about Holland America Line while introducing what comes next.”
Oosterdam’s return to service marks the next phase of Holland America Evolution, a multiyear modernization designed to bring the best of the fleet’s Pinnacle Class experience to more ships, along with new venues and accommodations.
Additional new voyages include an 11-day Adriatic Antiquities sailing from Trieste to Piraeus (Athens); a seven-day Mediterranean Splendor sailing from Piraeus to Barcelona; a 13-day Cultural Crossing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale; and an 11-day Eastern Caribbean sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale.
