HX Expands Americas Sales Team

HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) is kicking off 2024 with the appointment of four key positions on the Americas sales team.

According to HX, the new hires come “as part of HX’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in this key growth market and forge stronger relationships with the travel trade…”

“I am excited to announce the expansion of our team, a significant step in our commitment to building and nurturing long-lasting partnerships with the travel trade,” said Sheralyn Berry, general manager for HX in the Americas.

Joining the team as senior sales director is Carla Brake, who has previously served as senior director of business development for the Globus family of brands and Avalon Waterways, as well as vice president of sales at Insight Vacations. She can be reached at Carla.brake@hurtigruten.com.

Jennifer Kennedy joins the team as business development manager for the southeast U.S. She brings more than 15 years of experience, including time spent at The Travel Corporation, Insight Vacations, and Contiki. She can be reached at Jennifer.kennedy@hurtigruten.com.

Kent Phillips joins the team as business development manager for western Canada. He has previously served as senior BDM at Exodus Adventure Travels, specializing in active adventure travel and polar expeditions. He can be reached at kent.phillips@hurtigruten.com.
