Bookings are now open for MSC World Asia’s inaugural season in the Western Mediterranean in late 2026.
MSC World Asia will be the line’s third World Class ship, but unlike the previous two – MSC World Europa, which sails in Europe and MSC World America, which sails out of Florida – it will not be offering cruises in Asia, at least for the time being.
Instead, the ship will sail the Western Mediterranean starting in December 2026 offering seven-night sailings to multiple ports in Spain, France, Italy, and Malta.
For the summer 2027 season, MSC World Asia will sail a seven-night itinerary serving Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, and Valletta.
“MSC World Asia will further enhance our lineup in the region, giving guests even more choice of embarkation ports and itineraries for their winter escape or summer getaways,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises. “As with each of our new ships, we’ll introduce innovative new concepts, venues and services to deliver the ultimate cruise experience for our guests.”
While MSC World Asia will not be sailing in Asia, it does feature design elements that reflect Asia’s rich culture, art and beautiful landscapes.
MSC Voyager’s Club members who book by Feb. 13, 2025, will receive 1,000 extra points, plus an onboard credit of $50 per person.
