Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) has ordered a third Prestige Class ship for the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand. The order, which was placed with Fincantieri, is scheduled for delivery in 2033.
“This newbuild order continues our measured, strategic expansion within the luxury space, providing guests with yet another way to experience the unrivaled…” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer at NCLH. “It reflects our confidence in the growing demand for Regent’s best-in-class offering and reaffirms our long-standing partnership with Fincantieri, one rooted in craftsmanship and shared pursuit of perfection.”
The Prestige Class is the first new class of ship for RSSC in 10 years. The first-in-class 822-passenger Seven Seas Prestige will debut next year, while the second Prestige Class ship is scheduled for 2030. Prestige Class ships are 40% larger than the previous Regent ships yet accommodate only 10% more guests across 12 stateroom categories, including all-new suite types, including the Skyview Regent suite and the two-level Skyview and Grand Loft suites.
