Regent Seven Seas Cruises is elevating the culinary enrichment program onboard Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager with the addition of a culinary theater. The Epicurean Enrichment Studio will offer chef-hosted classes, dining experiences, shore excursions, and more.
“Culinary exploration has always been at the heart of meaningful travel, and our new Epicurean Enrichment Studio allows guests to discover destinations through the eyes of our master chefs,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer at Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “From mastering the art of spice blending in India to savoring premium Mediterranean olive oils, every element is thoughtfully designed to connect our guests with the stories, traditions, and authentic flavors that define each region we visit.”
The Epicurean Enrichment Studio will offer experiences based around five key pillars: Epicurean Passport Series, Chef’s Circle, Chef’s Table, Chef-Led Epicurean Enrichment Tours, and Chef-Hosted Dining.
Epicurean Passport Series
The Passport Series features destination-focused lectures focusing on a region’s culinary history, signature ingredients, and recipes. Participants will receive a keepsake passport stamped upon completing each culinary region, along with illustrated recipe handouts. The Passport Series offers lectures across more than 20 distinct culinary regions.
Chef’s Circle
Available exclusively to Epicurean Passport Series participants, this programming varies by region and chef instructor but might include author-led book readings, epicurean trivia competitions, expert mixology classes, culinary film screenings, and storytelling sessions.
Chef’s Table
The Chef’s Table program is made up of two elements: intimate small-group culinary lectures and cooking demonstrations led by Regent’s chefs. Lectures will cover topics such as Olive Oils 101 or Spices of the World, followed by time for Q&As. The cooking demonstrations will reflect regional cuisine, such as paella in Spain, biryani in India, or Scandinavia gravlax.
Chef-Led Epicurean Tours
A collection of more than 70 culinary-themed shore excursions, led by Regent chefs, will bring guests to local markets, vineyards, and kitchens, with optional post-tour recaps conducted in the Epicurean Enrichment Studio.
Chef-Hosted Dining
Invitation-only dinners, seating no more than eight guests, with Regent’s culinary team in the ship’s specialty restaurants. Each evening begins with a cocktail hour and culinary insights into the different cuisine served on board.
The studio experience onboard both ships will begin each cruise with an open-house, sparkling wine reception where guests can meet the resident chefs and sign up for programs and events.
Created by Kathryn Kelly, executive chef and director of culinary enrichment for RSSC, the Epicurean Enrichment Studio will debut on Seven Seas Mariner for its 2026 World Cruise and Seven Seas Voyager from May 2026. Onboard Mariner, the Stars’ Lounge will be converted into the studio, while Voyager’s Club.com internet space and a boutique will be used.
