Norwegian Cruise Line Reveals Redeployment Itineraries for Jewel, Star, and Dawn
by Dori Saltzman /After canceling full 2025/26 seasons for three of its ships, Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed where they’ll be going instead.
As reported by Cruise Industry News, the Norwegian Jewel, which was scheduled to cruise from Tampa to the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Central America, will instead sail from Miami. Itineraries will be available between Nov. 23, 2025 and April 16, 2026, going to the Bahamas, Southern Caribbean, and the Panama Canal.
The Norwegian Dawn has been sent far from its originally scheduled season in and around Africa and the Indian Ocean. It is now scheduled to offer Western Caribbean itineraries during the 2025/26 season, though it has not yet said which port the ship will be operating out of. Bookings for these sailings also open on Nov. 29, 2024.
Norwegian Star has been similarly sent far from its original deployment. Set to spend its winter season in South America and doing Antarctica sail-bys, the ship is now going to the Southern Caribbean and the Bahamas. The ship’s new homeport has not yet been named, but bookings for the new sailings will open on Nov. 29, 2024.
Norwegian Star was last in the news last February, when it suddenly dropped Antarctica from two South American itineraries with little to no warning to booked guests.
Booked guests on any of the canceled 2025/26 sailings are receiving full credit for the canceled voyage as well as a 10% Future Cruise Credit, good through Dec. 31, 2026.
