Tech company VacationPort, formerly known as Passport Online, has announced Poseidon Expeditions as the latest partner to join its growing catalog of travel companies.

Poseidon Expeditions is an award-winning polar cruise operator that specializes in expedition voyages to the Arctic and Antartica. The tour operator has received multiple industry honors in its 25+ years of operation, including being named World’s Leading Polar Expedition Operator by the World Travel Awards, 2021.

Through the partnership, travel advisors using VacationPort can showcase Poseidon Expedition’s voyages to the Arctic and Antarctic, British Isles, and Faroes aboard the M/V Sea Spirit.

“Expedition cruising is a complex, premium product,” said Kathie DeVincenzo, head of sales, North America for Poseidon Expeditions. “To sell it successfully, advisors need to go far beyond listing destinations. It’s about understanding the demands and rewards of remote-region travel, and VacationPort’s network gives us the right reach and visibility to find the travelers who seek that kind of adventure.”

With the added visibility of the VacationPort platform, Poseidon Expeditions hopes to grow its visibility in the North America market, connecting with luxury travel advisors in the U.S. and Canada.

“Partnering with Poseidon Expeditions brings a truly unique and world-class product to our advisors and introduces extraordinary polar journeys to a broader North American audience,” said Sarah Bauman, vice president of product management for VacationPort.

VacationPort is a leading provider of travel content distribution. The company offers digital marketing solutions for the leisure travel industry, including website development, rich travel content, email marketing, and social media strategy.
