by Sarah Milner /Passport Online announced today the early retirement of its president, Jeanne Colombo. She will be stepping down effective Nov. 1, 2024 to focus on a serious illness within her family.
“It has been immensely gratifying to work for a company that consistently innovates and explores new channels, providing key products and services in the leisure travel industry,” said Colombo. ”I am proud of the achievements we have made as we enter the last quarter of 2024.”
The industry veteran has been Passport Online’s president since 2021, and first joined the tech solutions company as vice president, supplier relations in 2012. Passport Online, which offers tech solutions for the travel industry, will be using the opportunity to implement changes as it heads into 2025. The company is restructuring its leadership team, and plans to rebrand in the near future.
Included in the leadership changes are the following internal promotions: Andrew Borst, previously vice president of technology, has been made chief technology officer. Sarah Bauman, formerly director product solutions, has been named vice president of product management. Finally, Christina Lynch has been upped from senior operations manager to director of operations.
In addition to the rebrand, the company has several initiatives in the works, such as enhanced travel website solutions and redeveloped displays of hotel, destination, and supplier content. More details will be announced in the coming months.
“There is much more to come,” said Sudhir. “We are excited about a new endeavor that will be unveiled next year. With such a talented and dedicated team, 2025 is set to be a milestone year for Passport Online.”
