Technology solutions provider VacationPort has acquired website and content platform Voyager Websites.
VacationPort, formerly Passport Online, is a digital solutions provider for the travel industry. The company’s distribution channel connects suppliers with consortia, agencies, and ICs, enabling shopping sessions on travel agency websites. Recently, VacationPort revamped AgentPort its advisor portal, aiming to create an “all-in-one” digital tool.
With the acquisition, VacationPort will be adding the Voyager Websites platform, content library, and customer base to its portfolio of products and services, expanding its digital marketing solutions for advisors.
“Voyager Websites has built an impressive platform with a powerful legacy of service to travel advisors,” said Sudhir Bhagwan, chairman & CEO of VacationPort. “Bringing Voyager Websites into the VacationPort family allows us to deepen our support for advisors with expanded technology, content, and marketing tools. Together, we are creating the most comprehensive suite of solutions available in the industry today.”
Founded in 2016 by Richard Earls, publisher of Travel Research Online, Voyager Websites was designed specifically for travel advisors. The company has helped hundreds of agencies with marketing services such as customizable websites, social media tools, and a large content library.
“As the travel industry evolves, digital visibility is more important than ever for advisors,” said Richard Earls, founder of Voyager Websites. “Since day one, our mission has been to give agents the tools they need to market smarter and stand out online. VacationPort shares that same commitment, and I am confident this acquisition will enhance the value delivered to our loyal customers.”
