Riviera Travel is kicking off the new year with a full rebrand, including a new brand identity, new bundled travel packages, an expedited travel advisor commission schedule, and more.

Effective immediately, Riviera River Cruises will now be known as Riviera Travel, bringing the river cruise line segment of the business under the same umbrella as the company’s other entities.

“For the past 40 years, Riviera Travel has been synonymous with ultra-premium tours and travel experiences, so it’s only natural to bring Riviera River Cruises under the same trusted name,” said Marilyn Conroy, executive vice president of marketing and sales for Riviera River Cruises. “Rebranding from Riviera River Cruises to Riviera Travel better reflects the diverse, luxurious experiences we now offer to even the most discerning American travelers seeking unforgettable European vacations.”

Bundled, Commissionable Packages for Add-Ons

As part of the rebrand, Riviera Travel has streamlined the booking process so that advisors can now bundle airfare, transfers, and pre- or post-cruise hotel accommodations with river cruises – and get paid commission on these add-ons.

Updated Travel Advisor Commission Schedule, Exclusive Advisor Incentives

Effective immediately, travel advisors will now receive their commission two weeks prior to their clients’ departure dates. The change, Riviera Travel wrote in its announcement, underscores “the value Riviera Travel places on their travel advisor partnerships.”

In addition to the new commission schedule, Riviera Travel will offer exclusive incentives for travel advisors throughout 2025, including a $50 voucher for bookings of seven nights and a $100 voucher for bookings of ten nights or more.

“The travel advisor community is essential to the growth and success of Riviera Travel as we expand our offerings and enhance the services we provide, and we continue to evolve our offerings in an effort to help our partners stay ahead of the game,” said Conroy. “With our rebrand, we are thrilled to reaffirm our commitment to travel advisors, recognizing their needs, the needs of their clients, and the absolutely vital role they play in our success.”

New Amenities and Itineraries in 2025

In addition to new booking options and earning potential for travel advisors, Riviera Travel has revamped its product offerings heading into 2025.  New combination cruises recently launched by Riviera Travel now allow guests to sail for up to 29 consecutive days and a variety of carefully curated themed itineraries have been introduced, as well, from Gastronomy of the Douro to Art and History on the Danube.

Lastly, the company plans to introduce new onboard amenities and programming throughout 2025 including a new superior drinks package, as well as some special “surprise and delight” touches inspired by local destinations.
