Riviera Travel Appoints Regional Sales Director for Upper Midwest

Riviera Travel has appointed Lisa Ertmann as its newest regional sales director covering the Upper Midwest region.
The news comes as the European river cruise operator continues to push into the North American trade market and strengthen relationships with travel advisors. Ertmann is a former travel advisor and previously held a range of sales and marketing roles at Norwegian Cruise Line, most recently as senior manager of trade marketing.
“We are overjoyed to welcome Lisa to the Riviera Travel team and look forward to the impact we know her expertise will bring,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “Lisa’s innovative approach and emphasis on building strong relationships with our trade partners will be a vital part of our success as we prepare to embark on another exciting year ahead.”
Ertmann brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the new role, in which she will provide practical support to travel advisors through education, collaboration, and thoughtful marketing initiatives.
Riviera Travel also just named a new group CEO and has been solidifying its presence in key U.S. markets. The company notably will launch the first-ever fully dedicated solo river cruise ship and expand to Asia on the Mekong river in 2027.
