Riviera Travel has launched Riviera Explorer, an all-new digital training program for travel advisors designed to help them sell the company’s European river cruises.

“Travel advisors play such a pivotal role in our industry, and we are committed to providing them with the tools they need to grow and enhance their business,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “Riviera Explorer is an accessible, efficient, and impactful platform designed to enhance advisors’ knowledge and sales skills. Our goal is to empower as many travel advisors as possible to confidently sell the Riviera product.”

The training hub currently features six modules, including an overview of Europe’s major rivers, as well as in-depth lessons on Riviera’s fleet, solo travel options, group offerings, grand tours, and the brand’s hotel, flight, and transport options.

Each module begins with a video, followed by key highlights, quick facts, and a series of quizzes to reinforce learning.

The platform has three levels: Freshman, Senior, and Graduate. As travel advisors move through the modules, they level up and upon completing the full program, they earn the title of Riviera Graduate and receive a certificate of achievement.

According to Riviera, it takes about four to five hours to complete the entire program, but advisors are free to go at their own pace.

Riviera Explorer also includes advisor resources including brochures, window posters, social media post templates, training videos, and more.

Advisors who complete the Riviera Explorer training by Sept. 30, 2025, will be entered to win one of 20 spots on two FAM trips in 2026 (10 advisors on each sailing).

Riviera will continue to add new modules, seasonal campaigns, and the latest updates and developments to the platform keeping travel advisors informed and engaged.
