Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas to Feature ‘Back to the Future’ Musical

Royal Caribbean is revving up the DeLorean onboard Star of the Seas, its upcoming Icon Class ship, next year.
Royal announced this week that “Back to the Future: The Musical,” a production straight from Broadway inspired by the 1985 hit movie, will headline Star of the Seas’ entertainment lineup when the ship launches next summer.
The musical has been a hit both on Broadway and on London’s West End, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2022 for that London production. The Broadway run is slated to end in January 2025, so unless guests are traveling to London (that run will last into July 2025), the only place they’ll be able to catch the production is on Star of the Seas.
