Scenic Group Reveals Details of New Scenic & Emerald Global Loyalty Program

Two weeks after it first teased a new integrated loyalty system that combines Scenic Club and EmeraldEXPLORER, Scenic Group is revealing details of the all-new Scenic & Emerald Rewards program. Included is a reward system that allows travelers to earn points, which can be converted into dollars off future bookings.
Designed from extensive guest and travel advisor feedback, the new program recognizes and rewards travel across all the Scenic and Emerald luxury yacht, river and escorted land journeys.
“It felt like this is the right time to bring this together,” Robert Castro, vice president of marketing for Scenic Group, told TMR, explaining that guests have been asking to be recognized for the travel they do across Scenic Group’s family of brands.
Just as importantly, travel advisors have shared that their clients are expressing interest in trying other Scenic brands, but don’t want to lose the loyalty status they’ve already built up with just one brand.
“We have definitely seen folks going between both [Scenic and Emerald]. We also heard that they wanted to try but they already had built such loyalty with one brand that they wanted to make sure it was recognized in one way, shape, or form,” Castro explained.
(While Scenic Group doesn’t market its tour offerings in North America, Castro told TMR many past Scenic and Emerald cruisers have booked a land tour after learning about them while cruising. These land tours count as part of the new loyalty program.)
Four Tiers
The new Scenic & Emerald Rewards program combines members’ existing status points from the two previous programs into a consolidated balance, which is then applied against the new program’s four-tier structure: Gold, Diamond, Emerald, and Chairman’s Club. All tiers have all the benefits of the tier beneath it, plus added amenities and perks.
At Gold, members have access to member-only offers, as well as pre-release cruises and land journeys, and a dedicated phone and email contact.
At Diamond, members can take advantage of priority onboard bookings for restaurants, excursions, and helicopter/submarine experiences, as well as a complimentary airport transfer or airport hotel stay (select markets only) or a transfer credit, complimentary night pre- or post-accommodation on journeys of 20 nights and longer, and six pieces of complimentary laundry per day on Scenic Yachts only,
At Emerald level, members receive priority service from the Premium Guest Concierge team, as well as two pieces of complimentary laundry per day on both Scenic and Emerald river cruises, six pieces of complimentary laundry per day on Scenic Yachts or two pieces per day on Emerald Yachts, private transfers at the start or end of the journey (in destination) in select cities, invitation-only dining, complimentary one-hour massage or facial treatment during a Yacht cruise, plus a designer lapel pin.
On attaining Chairman’s Club level, members can enjoy one complimentary seven-night Europe or Asia river cruise in a lead-in balcony suite (select itineraries only). Chairman’s Club level members also receive a complimentary suite upgrade to next category on a Scenic or Emerald cruise (when available, excludes premium suites), upgraded private transfer vehicle (in select cities only), a personalized welcome gift pack, priority dining early booking, invitation to an annual Chairman’s Club event, and a 50% discount on travel insurance (where available).
Additional rewards will be rolled out in 2027 and 2028 for Chairman’s Club members during Yacht sailings, including a complimentary private car excursion (where available, from April 2027) and one helicopter or flightseeing experience on select Scenic departures (from April 2028).
MyRewards
The new MyRewards piece of the program enables members to earn 1% of their eligible new booking value as an actual monetary amount that can be used to save on their next Scenic Group booking. Called MyReward points, this monetary value is also earned when a client books a pre- or post-cruise land extension and can be used to pay for pre- or post-cruise land extensions.
Advisors will be able to apply these savings on behalf of their clients through ExpressBook, using the “Make a MyRewards Redemption” option. Advisors should note that MyRewards points cannot be used toward a deposit. They can only be applied as part of full payment.
Automatic Transition
All existing members have been automatically transitioned into the new Scenic & Emerald Rewards program. Members in tiers that were merged have been moved to the new equivalent or higher tier, with status points adjusted upwards, so guests can continue to enjoy their range of benefits.
