Sea Cloud Cruises will homeport its newest ship, Sea Cloud Spirit, in Venice’s Grand Canal for four new Venice roundtrip sailings in summer 2025.
Historic Venice is limited to ships under 25,000 gross tons and Sea Cloud Cruises is one of the few cruise lines permitted to dock just steps away from St. Mark’s Square.
The nine-night itinerary is a first for the cruise line and will include six ports of call along Croatia’s scenic coast and two days under full sail on the Adriatic Sea.
“Sailing was a passion of Marjorie Merriweather Post, creator of the original Sea Cloud, and these special Venice roundtrip sailings have been meticulously designed to pay homage to her love for traveling in this region under full sail,” said Mirell Reyes, president of Sea Cloud Cruises North America.
The four sailings will be July 24 to Aug. 2; Aug. 2 to 11; Aug. 11 to 20; and Aug. 20 to 29.
