Silversea Cruises Unveils Largest-Ever Deployment for 2027/28

Silversea Cruises has unveiled its 2027/28 collection of voyages, running from February 2027 to May 2028 and comprising 414 new sailings to more than 600 destinations, including three new Grand Voyages, the line’s first-ever summer season in Japan, all-new expedition options, and 30 maiden calls.
Ranging from six to 77 days in duration, the new sailings include 271 classic voyages and 143 expeditions to over 600 of the world’s most iconic and off-the-beaten path destinations in more than 100 countries. General sales open on Oct. 22, 2025.
“Our voyage collection 2027-2028 marks a new chapter of innovation in luxury travel,” said Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea. “Silversea’s 12 ships will host guests on 414 classic and expedition voyages to many of the world’s most iconic and hidden destinations — few of which even the most discerning travelers ever get to see, including 30 maiden calls.”
As part of the deployment, Silversea will also provide access to festivals and events around the work, including Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and one of Japan’s largest cultural festivals, Awa Odori. Almost 30 dedicated Silversea events will also be held coinciding with natural events, as well as cultural, sporting, and culinary festivals.
Silversea’s First-Ever Japan Summer Season
Silversea will deploy Silver Muse to Japan for summer 2027, offering six combinable sailings that visit a combination of iconic ports and smaller destinations, with calls coinciding with local festivals, rituals, and community celebrations.
Other highlights will include Hiroshima, Akita, Nagasaki, and Shimizu near Mount Fuji, Busan, Jeju, Okinawa, Amami Oshima, and Kagoshima. Overnights in Osaka will enable guests to explore the city’s vibrant street food and nightlife. On board, the S.A.L.T. culinary program will deepen guests’ connections to Japan, with shore experiences including an umami discovery in Osaka and explorations of Kyoto’s regional specialties.
Silversea’s 2027/28 Grand Voyages
Silver Dawn will offer a 60-day Grand Voyage that traces the Western Mediterranean, Greek Isles, and Adriatic across 48 destinations during the shoulder season. Silver Muse will operate a 51-day Grand Voyage through Asia in 2028 with calls to 28 destinations in seven countries, including 10 overnights. Finally, Silver Ray will offer a 77-day circumnavigation of South America visiting 40 destinations, featuring multiple UNESCO sites and overnights in Lima, Valparaiso, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Manaus.
143 Silversea Expedition Sailings
Silver Cloud will offer new warm-water expedition destinations in Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Great Barrier Reef, as well. These itineraries will feature Zodiac excursions, snorkeling, guided hikes, and cultural encounters. Standout destinations include Kanazawa on Honshu, Japan; Zamami in the Kerama Archipelago; Ribbon Reef and Sandakan Bay in Australia; and Borneo.
In the Arctic and Greenland, Silver Wind and Silver Endeavour will offer a combined 20 sailings, with some traveling as far as 80° North. Standout Arctic and Greenland destinations from more than 70 featured in the new deployment will include Disko Bay, Ilulissat, and Sisimiut.
Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud, and Silver Wind will offer a combined 43 journeys to Antarctica, including 32 Fly/Cruise sailings that feature the line’s new Puerto Williams hotel The Cormorant at 55 South.
2027/28 Nova Class Highlights
As part of the overall deployment announcement, Silversea also revealed the latest deployment news for Silver Nova and Silver Ray. Both ships will host guests on a combined total of 57 voyages in the Mediterranean and 11 sailings in the Caribbean and Central America.
In the Med, ports will include Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Istanbul, Syros, and Gythion, among others, while in the Caribbean cruisers will visit Gustavia, Castries, St. Barts, St. Kitts, Bequia, and more.
