Victory Cruise Lines has named Rodney Bailey as its new vice president of guest experience, a newly created role intended to elevate and unify the company’s end-to-end guest journey.
In his new role, Bailey will build and lead the holistic guest experience – spanning pre-voyage inspiration and booking, onboard experience design and delivery, theme and enrichment programming, loyalty strategy, and post-voyage service recovery. His leadership will cross both onshore and onboard experiences and teams
Bailey brings decades of executive-level hospitality and cruise leadership, including time spent at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Mandarin Oriental, The Setai, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara, and American Queen Voyages. He joins Victory Cruise Lines after serving as president/owner of RAB Hospitality, a firm specializing in hospitality operations consulting.
“Rodney represents a rare caliber of leadership required to elevate Victory Cruise Lines into its next era of luxury small-ship cruising,” said David W. Kelly, CEO of Victory Cruise Lines. “His experience across iconic global hospitality and cruise brands, combined with his ability to operationalize service excellence, positions him to meaningfully shape how our guests experience Victory Cruise Lines today and into the future.”
Bailey previously supported Victory Cruise Lines in a consulting capacity, helping with guest experience strategy initiatives, allowing him to step into the role with immediate alignment to the company’s culture, values, and vision for growth.
