The Times of India reports a fatal incident at Mumbai Airport, in which the co-pilot of an Air India flight mistook a signal and started the engine of flight AI 619, pulling in an Air India technician standing nearby.
The accident at Chhatrapati Shivaji, a small domestic airport, killed Ravi Subramanian.
Air India chairman Ashwani Lohani said an inquiry has begun and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
