Qatar Airways Bans Hoverboards

A week after Delta and British Airways banned hoverboards (), Qatar Airways did the same, announcing today that it will no longer allow the battery-powered vehicles on board. Citing passenger and crew safety, Qatar said it will not allow the devices in check-in luggage or as a carry-on item regardless of the type of battery the device has.

Southwest and JetBlue, along with Delta and British Airways, are all on the long list of airlines to ban the devices.
