It’s probably not too hard to convince most clients to take a trip to Las Vegas, but with a blockbuster summer schedule, Sin City is beckoning visitors with its latest “Pack for Vegas” campaign. The 15-second ad spots brim with an anticipatory energy that is distinctly Las Vegas. But apart from their cheeky and irreverent spirit, the campaign is highlighting some major only-in-Vegas happenings that are taking place in the summer months of 2026.
Here to convince your clients that it’s time to pull the trigger on that summer getaway are four of these events that will trigger a booking and guarantee a good time.
An explosive America250 celebration
No one creates a spectacle quite like Las Vegas and of course that goes for its fireworks displays. In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, cities will be celebrating our country’s founding nationwide as part of the America250 initiative. For eight consecutive Saturdays (June 6-July 25), beginning at 9 p.m. local time, the Strip will be transformed by one of the nation’s largest Fourth of July displays. Observers can expect an eight-minute-long synchronized show coordinated to music (found on local radio stations like 92.3 FM) as well as complementary programming on the Sphere’s Exosphere. Viewing can be found across Downtown Vegas, from pedestrian bridges and parking garages to rooftop pools, bars and restaurants. Planning to visit for Independence Day? The party cranks to 11 with fireworks from nine simultaneous locations across the Strip.
Epic World Cup watch parties
The FIFA World Cup 2026 runs from June 11 through July 19, with matches hosted across North America. To honor the world’s biggest soccer tournament, fans can find some serious watch parties to cheer on the USA and root for their favorite teams. Caesars Entertainment will host “Soccer on the Strip,” with designated match-day viewing across its bars, lounges and sportsbook locations. A festive atmosphere is brewing at the Oasis Pool and LIV Beach at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where a viewing will be held on June 19. To catch a match at the world’s largest sportsbook, head to Circa Las Vegas. Matches are scheduled for June 11-12; June 18-19; and June 24-25. Fans looking to cool off while the game heats up can also watch on a 40-foot-tall, hi-definition screen at Stadium Swim, featuring six pools across three levels.
Stacked performances at the Sphere
No Doubt kicks off the summer season at the Sphere, reuniting for a residency on select dates through June 13. Country superstar Kenny Chesney then returns to Vegas for a series of full-tilt performances June 19 through July 11. Not to be outdone, boy band legends The Backstreet Boys have extended their “Into the Millennium” residency across additional dates this summer (July 16-August 29). As part of an ongoing experience, “Wizard of Oz at Sphere” is an immersive, 4D take on the classic film available to ticketholders. Showtimes are typically held twice daily.
Grand opening of the Vanderpump Hotel
Restaurateur and TV personality Lisa Vanderpump has opened her first-ever hotel in the heart of the Strip. The Vanderpump Hotel features 188 boutique rooms designed by Lisa herself, including 21 sumptuous suites. Now that guests can unwind in her signature style, be sure they also take advantage of the total experience, with three dining and drinking options, across Vegas, bedecked in extravagance: Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Vanderpump à Paris, and Pinky’s by Vanderpump. Guests staying at the new hotel, part of Caesars Entertainment, can enjoy Soleia pool club, a restaurant helmed by Giada De Laurentiis and — why not — a Starbucks.
From the Sponsor
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is dedicated to helping travel advisors drive more sales and deepen their expertise on Las Vegas, and the Learn and Earn Travel Advisor Training and Rewards program is designed specifically with that goal in mind. Through a series of short, focused training modules, advisors gain up-to-date knowledge on the destination’s hotels, entertainment, dining, sports, and special events, so they can confidently match clients with the right experiences.
As advisors complete coursework, they unlock rewards and incentives that recognize their investment of time and effort. This structure motivates advisors to stay engaged with new content and product updates, ensuring they are always prepared to sell what’s new and noteworthy in Las Vegas. The program also emphasizes practical selling tips, giving advisors language, itineraries, and offers they can use immediately with clients. By combining education with tangible rewards, Learn and Earn helps advisors convert interest into actual bookings and repeat business. Better product knowledge leads to higher client satisfaction, stronger word-of-mouth referrals, and more opportunities to upsell premium experiences — ultimately helping travel advisors earn more commission and grow their Las Vegas portfolio.
