Brightline, Florida’s higher-speed rail service connecting South Florida to Orlando, has launched on the Amadeus Travel Platform. The integration into the Amadeus ecosystem gives more travel advisors the ability to book rail alongside air to Florida.

This move marks a significant step in Brightline’s distribution strategy making Brightline’s rail services fully bookable via the same screens and workflow that travel advisors use every day.

“Brightline’s inclusion in the Amadeus ecosystem represents a new frontier for rail distribution in the U.S.,” said Julie Sharenow, vice president of sales, Brightline. “We’re making it simpler than ever for travel trade partners to sell high-demand rail connections between Florida’s key destinations. From the theme parks of Orlando to vibrant South Florida city centers, agents can now enhance traveler itineraries with efficient, hospitality-driven rail — all in the same booking stream they use for global air travel.”

Among the capabilities provided are the ability to easily incorporate Brightline rail segments into multi-leg itineraries, access real-time availability and ticketing through standard fare and inventory interfaces, and easily present clients with modal options that span air and rail in a single booking.
