Downtown Las Vegas ‘At Par’ Promotion Attractions 50,000 Canadians in Three Months

Downtown Las Vegas’ Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino report a continued surge in Canadian visitation following the launch of their “At Par” program, which treats the Canadian dollar at parity with the U.S. dollar.

Within three months, the properties say the promotion has drawn more than 50,000 Canadian visitors, generated more than 5,100 hotel room bookings and produced over $10 million in slot play.

The program will continue through August 31 and applies to select gaming, hotel, beverage and entertainment offerings, with added appeal this summer through free Fremont Street Experience performances by Canadian artists Tiga (May 15) and Finger Eleven (June 27). Visitors do not need to be hotel guests to participate in gaming, beverage or entertainment offerings.

“Canadians have always played a meaningful role in downtown Las Vegas, and we’re incredibly appreciative of the loyalty they continue to show our city,” said Derek Stevens, owner and CEO of Circa, the D and Golden Gate.

“The response to our At Par program has been tremendous and we look forward to creating more exciting moments for our guests from the Great White North.”

A message from Stevens can be found here.

Under the At Par program, eligible Canadian guests receive $1 USD in value for every $1 CAD spent, regardless of daily exchange rates. Available across these three downtown Las Vegas properties, the effort removes one of the biggest financial barriers to U.S. leisure travel and makes it easier for Canadian visitors to focus on what matters most: entertainment, hospitality and fun.

How Canadian guests can benefit from the At Par program:

New! Free Tiga Show: Tiga will perform on Fremont Street Experience’s Main Street Stage on May 15. The Canadian DJ is known for his sharp wit, genre-bending sound and influence on modern electronic music.

New! Finger Eleven Meet & Greet at BarCanada: Canadian rock band Finger Eleven will make an appearance on June 27 at 10:45 p.m. at BarCanada at the D Las Vegas. 30 invited guests will be selected via a social media giveaway for an exclusive meet and greet. Fremont Street Experience will feature Finger Eleven on June 27 as part of its free Downtown Rocks Summer Concert Series.

Gaming Offers: Canadian guests may redeem up to $500 CAD in slot promotional play, treated at full U.S. dollar value, by visiting Club One at Circa, the D or Golden Gate and presenting a valid Canadian passport or government-issued ID. Slot play is available on participating machines at each property, with standard exclusions.

Hotel Offers: Canadian guests staying at Circa, the D or Golden Gate will receive the At Par rate at check-in, paying the same amount shown in U.S. dollars, charged directly in Canadian dollars, with no exchange rate applied. Canadian citizenship must be verified with a valid passport or government-issued ID.

Beverage Offers: The At Par program also extends to select beverage venues, including BarCanada at the D Las Vegas, a hockey-forward sports bar, as well as Overhang at Circa and Bar Prohibition! at Golden Gate. Eligible Canadian guests may redeem At Par beverage pricing multiple times per visit upon verification of Canadian identification.
