Upcoming, One-of-a-Kind Cruises to Book on Scenic and Emerald Cruises

Scenic Group straddles two unique cruise offerings — Scenic Cruises and Emerald Cruises — presenting a portfolio of options ranging from ultra-luxury to luxury; river cruising to ocean yacht cruising; and expedition voyages. With such a multifaceted brand, Scenic Group appeals to a variety of clients with different budgets, cruising styles and interests.

But with so many products spanning such a wide swath of destinations, it can be hard to keep track of everything that’s new and notable when selling Scenic and Emerald Cruises. The following are four upcoming cruises to consider for clients seeking an intimate ship setting who might be intrigued by Broadway stars, Top Chef alumni, inaugural sailings and some serious sunshine.

Scenic Eclipse’s Sounds of Discovery | October 12-24, 2024

If you have a client who is a huge fan of musicals and has the budget for an ultra-luxury, all-inclusive vacation experience, book them on the Sounds of Discovery cruise aboard superyacht Scenic Eclipse. Autumn in New York City is the perfect departure time and place for a themed sailing that celebrates Broadway. In fact, joining the voyage is Carrie St. Louis, who’s starred in Broadway hits such as “Wicked,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Kinky Boots.”

Shipside, every room is a suite, and every suite has butler service. A maximum of 228 guests keeps this immersive experience more intimate than a Broadway theater (by about half the capacity). Guests will disembark in Nassau after a 12-night journey into the Caribbean Sea with calls on four different Bahamian ports. Or clients short on time can book the first leg of the voyage, which wraps after five days in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Scenic Eclipse’s Tastes of Discovery | November 16-27, 2024

Foodie clients will want to consider Scenic Eclipse’s other theme sailing this fall, which highlights the brand’s culinary excellence. Included on every Scenic Eclipse sailing are 10 different dining experiences onboard, rivaling other luxury yacht competitors. On this 12-day sailing along the coastline and through the gastronomy of South America, clients will delight in the company of special guest chefs against the stunning backdrop of Brazil with a call in Uruguay. The cruise concludes the night before Thanksgiving, in Buenos Aires.

Chef Gabri Rodriguez, winner of “Top Chef Mexico” and recognized by the Michelin Star organization, joins the cruise marrying traditional flavors with contemporary techniques. Rodriguez is joined by Top Chef World All-Star Tom Goetter, now head of the Scenic Ocean Cruises’ culinary team as VP of Oceans Hotel Operations. Events include meet-and-greets, a signature cocktail party and a pop-up restaurant onboard.

Emerald Azzurra from St. Thomas to St. John’s | Winter 2024-2025

Emerald’s original chic and friendly yacht is now sailing the Caribbean. Kicking off its all-new itineraries this December, Emerald Azzurra offers several opportunities to sail this sun-drenched destination — including the opportunity to book back-to-back cruises with only one port (St. Barth’s) repeated. A variety of departures for the “Caribbean Yachting Hideaways” itinerary ensures that your clients can book their ideal week away, yachting through idyllic isles from either San Juan, Puerto Rico or St. Thomas, USVI to St. John’s in Antigua & Barbuda.

Emerald Cruises pairs inclusions like gratuities, select beverages, airport transfers and special events onboard, within a relaxed atmosphere. Shore excursion options in St. John, a U.S. National Park, include hiking and snorkeling or an island tour featuring the Annaberg Plantation ruins. Cruisers used to big ships will delight in access to lesser-known Caribbean paradises like Virgin Gorda or Vieques Island off Puerto Rico. Emerald Azzurra features a watersports platform, which offers access to swimming, kayaking and more from the back of the ship.

Emerald Kaia from Cyprus to the Acropolis | April 4-14, 2026

Emerald Kaia, Emerald Cruises’ latest luxury superyacht, builds upon the stellar deck plans of its sister ships, Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara. When it debuts in spring 2026, this yacht will sail a series of voyages in the Med, showing off enhanced features including its larger suites (10 percent bigger featuring 88 percent with private balconies) and expanded, 5,500-square-foot Sky Deck.

Book your clients a place on the upcoming “Cyprus to the Acropolis” cruise, a romantic sailing from Limassol to Athens that spends 10 leisurely days crisscrossing the Greek Isles and Turkey. Best of all, they’ll be sailing the stunning Mediterranean Sea with only 128 total passengers. Other features that distinguish Emerald Kaia are a much larger spa and fitness area featuring indoor/outdoor workout areas connected to the marina platform; a four-story slide into the sea; the open-air Sky Lounge; and the Night Market Grill, a specialty private dining experience featuring Asian cuisine for up to eight passengers.
