CDC Adds Singapore To Zika Travel Alert List

August 31, 2016

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) added Singapore to its travel alert list, following reports of locally transmitted Zika cases.

The CDC advises pregnant women avoid travel to the Singapore, and recommends other travelers protect themselves from mosquito bites.

Singapore has confirmed 82 Zika cases spread by local mosquitoes.
