Envoyage Canada announced today the appointment of David Gallie as Member Support Leader.
Gallie has nearly 30 years of experience in the travel industry. He first joined Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) in the late ‘90s, working his way up to area leader in retail before transitioning over to the product side where he handled project management, contracting, wholesale leadership, and product marketing.
After a few years away from the industry, Gallie is back to offer Envoyage advisors tools, support, and guidance.
“I’m excited to be back with FCTG, and even more thrilled to be joining Envoyage, a brand that’s redefining what it means to support and empower travel advisors,” said Gallie. “The opportunity to help Envoyage’s talented network of advisors grow and succeed is incredibly inspiring.”
The Envoyage rebrand launched earlier this year. The new brand brings together multiple Flight Centre independent advisors and agencies brands globally under one umbrella.
Anita Emilio, vice president and general manager of Envoyage, said the company is “thrilled” to welcome Gallie back.
“After his well-deserved time away, it’s fantastic to see him return to where he belongs, now as part of Envoyage,” said Emilio. “His leadership, expertise, and passion for helping advisors thrive make him the perfect addition to our already outstanding leadership team. We couldn’t be happier to have him on board.”
Gallie stepped into the role in September. He is based in Toronto.
“Reconnecting with familiar faces and building new relationships in such a dynamic and innovative environment is something I’m really looking forward to,” said Gallie. “Together, I believe we can take this network to new heights.”
