Faith-based travel brand ETS Tours has announced a new training podcast for travel advisors.

The new series aims to empower travel advisors and group leaders with insight into the faith-based travel niche. Created to be both entertaining and insightful, the podcast combines personal, inspirational stories with training and tools to succeed in the segment.

Planned as a weekly series, the “ETS Travel Podcast,” will launch on Aug. 27, 2025, debuting with two episodes. The podcast will be available in both audio-only and video format, and will launch on all major digital platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

“ETS Travel Podcast” will feature experts, including travel advisors and group leaders, who will share personal experiences and practical information—from selling tips and guidance to behind-the-scenes experiences and destination insight.

The show will be hosted by members of the ETS business development team, David Welch, Bethany Barbree, and John Cavarra. Special guests will include leaders in the space, such as longtime faith-based travel advisors and tour hosts.

David Welch, vice president of business development at ETS Tours, said the podcast can be used by travel advisors to promote faith-based travel to their clients. Unlike ETS Tours webinars, which are created with a trade audience in mind, the podcast is designed to be shared.

“It gives our travel partners a powerful new way to introduce faith-based travel to their clients and group leaders. We want people to feel what makes this type of travel so life-changing and this podcast tells that story beautifully,” said Welch.

Future episode topics include:

  • 5 Myths That Hold People Back from Group Travel
  • How to Identify and Empower a Great Group Leader
  • When NOT to Start with the Destination
  • What Makes a Pilgrimage Different from a Vacation
  • How to Position Shore Excursions that Deepen the Experience
  • Bible Land Cruise Benefits vs. Traditional Travel
  • Faith at Sea: Teaching and Fellowship Onboard
  • Holidays with Heart: Christmas Around the World
  • Catholic Pilgrimage Destinations: Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe, and Rome

“Everything we do at ETS is about being a true resource in faith-based travel and supporting our travel advisors, and this podcast is another powerful tool in their toolkit,” said John Cavarra, ETS business development manager. “It helps them learn, educate others, inspire, and connect in a whole new way.”
