Starwood Unveils Two Hotels In Paris

April 14, 2016

Starwood debuted two new hotels in Paris under its Tribute Portfolio brand. The hotels began accepting bookings on Wednesday.

Le Metropolitan offers views of the Eiffel Tower, a Turkish bath-inspired indoor pool and a wellness center, and a restaurant serving local and Mediterranean cuisine.

Le Dokhan’s is located near popular tourist attractions like the Trocadero Gardens, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower. It hosts the city’s first Champagne bar, plus more than 200 varieties of premium champagne. It also features custom artwork by Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, and Henri Matisse.

The hotels come at a time when Paris’ tourism industry is still reeling from November’s terrorist attack that killed 130 people. Paris tourism officials said visitor numbers to the city have dropped roughly 10% from a year ago.
